A light signal when you need it
Use the downward-facing RGB ring as a soft night light or doorbell notification. The buzzer can sound a timer or another automation.

Home Assistant, our app or both
Use CeilSense V2 with Home Assistant, the SmartHomeShop cloud app or both at the same time. With compatible firmware, you can combine local dashboards and automations with remote access to your readings in our app.
Locally with Home Assistant
With local ESPHome firmware, readings go straight to Home Assistant. No SmartHomeShop account or cloud subscription is required.
Only readings from installed modules are available. Presence requires radar; CO₂, temperature and humidity require SCD41. Cloud use requires an account, internet and cloud firmware that supports your model. Readings and features depend on hardware and firmware; history and usage limits depend on your app plan.

The CeilSense V2 base with recessed housing, spring clips, lux sensor, RGB LED ring, buzzer and WiFi/Ethernet. Radar and SCD41 are not included. Without them, the base does not measure presence, CO₂, temperature or humidity.
Are the selected modules pre-installed?
You receive one of each selected module per V2. We can ship them loose or fit them in the device. If you select LD2460 with other radars, you choose which ones we fit.
Do I need Home Assistant?
No. Use Home Assistant locally, the SmartHomeShop cloud app, or both together with suitable firmware. The cloud app requires an account and internet. Features and history depend on your modules, firmware and app plan.
How can I power and connect it?
Choose WiFi or Ethernet and power V2 with 110–240 V mains, PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or USB-C (5 V, at least 1 A). A USB-C power supply is not included. Mains electrical work must be carried out by a qualified installer.
Will it fit my ceiling?
V2 is recessed: the housing is Ø 74 mm, the recommended cut-out is Ø 76 mm and the outer rim is Ø 95.5 mm. Allow 41.46 mm above the ceiling, plus space for plugs and cables. Maximum ceiling thickness is 20 mm. It is not suitable for solid concrete without a cavity.

Choose your delivery country and currency at the top of the page. Once V2 can be ordered, shipping options, costs and payment methods are determined at checkout. Import VAT and customs handling charges may apply outside the EU. The launch schedule is not an international delivery guarantee.
