Water Sensor

Water sensor (replacement sensor for WaterP1MeterKit V1/V2 & WaterMeterKit V2)

This separate water sensor is suitable as a replacement for the older versions of our kits:

• WaterP1MeterKit V1
• WaterP1MeterKit V2
• Water Meter Kit V2

The sensor measures water consumption via a magnetic detection system that you place on your water meter. Connection is manual by connecting the three cables to the screw terminals in the housing of your kit.

Connection

1. Carefully open the housing of your WaterP1MeterKit or WaterMeterKit.
2. Screw the three wires to the appropriate terminals:
   Brown: +5V
   Black: Data
   Blue: GND
3. Close the housing again and test the sensor via your Home Assistant integration.

The sensor is supplied with a fixed 3-metre cable, so that you have enough space to place it neatly near your water meter (e.g. in the meter cupboard, basement or technical room).

Note: This sensor is not compatible with the WaterP1MeterKit V3 . For the V3, you need the new detachable water sensor with cable and connector .
